How We Differ

There are three approaches to the IT
servicing business.

1. Break-Fix.
2. Managed Services.
3. NEXIVITY peace of mind.

As you can see, third on the list is our own unique approach.
But many of our competitors also claim to be unique and “the new thing that only they discovered and no one else does” so how is our claim different?

We can use a lot of generic babbling to explain how we got to this point, such as “our expert experience has allowed us to develop a new strategy of delivering enterprise level service for affordable costs”, or “we are one step ahead by continually learning and implementing new technologies to help prevent potential risks”, but instead, let’s just simply break down what we offer and what they offer.

Traditional Approach

Other IT companies offer one of two options, Break-Fix and Managed Services,
here is the basic difference between these two.

Break-Fix

Break-Fix is the traditional approach to any service business, something breaks, you call the IT company, they fix it, you pay, and that’s it.

Managed Services

Managed Services is a newer approach, with Managed Services you pay a set amount of money per month and you get almost unlimited IT services for whatever is covered under the agreement.

Managed Services has a lot of advantages over the traditional Break-Fix model, indeed, many of our competitors parade their Managed Services offerings as their unique product (always with a different name), but while it’s certainly a better approach it is in no way unique.

Our Approach

Say you had your own in-house IT guy, and one day you have an issue with the phones, what do you do? You simply go to your IT person and tell him: there’s an issue with the phones. he won’t say “ahh the phones, that is the phone company’s problem, talk to them” no he will actually call up the phone company himself and figure it out with them.

Not all companies can afford an in-house IT department, and even those that can, sometimes it is not sensible to have IT in-house, so they are stuck using regular IT companies, and even those that do managed services will try to shake off as much responsibility as they can.

Ever called your IT provider about an issue and had them tell you oh this is the filter/phone/internet/printer company’s fault talk to them? and what happens when the other company claims it’s an IT issue? you have to go back and forth and meanwhile your service is down.

You’re paying for premium IT services but at the end of the day you or one of your employees is busy chasing after everyone to make sure it gets fixed because “it’s the other guy’s fault”.

This is where we are different

We not only offer the full benefits of managed services, our goal is to give you your own IT department, we don’t play the blame game, if there’s an issue we will call all parties involved and get it done just like you’re own IT department would do.

We also encourage your employees to reach out directly to our helpdesk for any issue, just like they would with in-house IT.

There is only one phone number to call, one point of contact.
And with that NEXIVITY’s peace of mind solution truly is revolutionary!

How?

We offer a lot, so how do we sustain it? The answer is simple, setup.

We have high standards and we focus most of our energy on getting/keeping you up to our standards, the truth is that when you are set up correctly with the right hardware, solid software and best practices in security things just work.

We don’t cling on to old technology just because that was the best option in the past, we embrace the future and are constantly evolving.
